API Research and Development
The API/Bulk Drug Research Facility, approved by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Government of India, is located in Navi Mumbai.
Manned by a pool of skilled scientists, the R&D efforts are directed towards development of non-infringing process technology of Fully Synthetic API and Semi Synthetic API.
Some of the strengths of this Research Facility are as follows:
- Synthetic Lab comprising of six Fume Hoods that are well equipped for organic synthesis from gm to 1 kg scale including high pressure (60 psi) reactions
- Multipurpose pilot plant with four reactors for Tech Transfer & R&D trials/validation up to 50 kg
- Highly sophisticated Analytical Development Laboratory to support analytical needs (HPLC – 3, GC – 1, IR-1, KFR – 1, Potentiometer, Polari meter, Photo stability chamber, etc.)
- On line search facility (Row2, Questal Orbit, etc.)
